Ana's here to work and study Spanish for a few months (I think about two, maybe three). She has an intern ship at an office that organizes things for the gay community (parades, fundraisers, etc.). After dinner I walked her to the metro station so she knew where it was for the morning, and then we went to one of the bars close-by and got a drink while we talked and I gave some pointers. I really like her. We seem to have a lot in common personality wise and I can sympathize with her. She's in the same position I was when I first got here; here 'alone', first time away from home, etc.

Just saying blog wasn't working properly...I wonder if that is what happened to my post. I think it is really cool how you have helped so many people when they have come to Blanca's! Maybe you need to think about doing something like this through Bloom for exchange students or like you said, be a host mom yourself one day! Love you and counting down the days! Momma
