It was such a pretty, quiet city. It was built on a hill, with the river on three sides and a wall surrounding it. We walked up to the top, grabbed a quick bite to eat and then began walking around the rest of the city. I bought a map that kind of helped us. We had a hard time actually working it. The streets were slightly difficult (there were a lot of dead ends) and we could never seem to find a street sign when we needed it.
I didn't get to see everything that I really wanted to see, but it was a perfect day for walking around and enjoying the sights. I have a bunch of pictures that I'm going to upload tomorrow. I don't plan on doing too much so I'll have all day to wait for them to load correctly. =)
For now though, I'm off to bed!
XOXO,
Carol
Sounds pretty...especially with water surrounding the place and being on a mountain! I had a lovely evening...we went to Kugo's and Ian joined us...it was so nice to see him again...you would have enjoyed watching the boys...poor Ian had to switch seats 1/2 way through his meal so everybody could have turns sitting with him...it was a nice surprise because even Nate didn't know he was joining us until right before we got there...love you lots...love Momma
