April 15th - April 16th: Day Seventy Three

I woke up somewhat early this morning so I could head out for Toledo and have plenty of time to see the whole city. I almost didn't meet Shannon and Sarah at the bus station; they were running late, and I didn't know what exit to use. Regardless, we finally met up only to find we were in the wrong station (never a dull moment with me, I swear). Finally, we located the correct station, got our tickets and boarded the bus. About 45 minutes later we were in Toledo.

It was such a pretty, quiet city. It was built on a hill, with the river on three sides and a wall surrounding it. We walked up to the top, grabbed a quick bite to eat and then began walking around the rest of the city. I bought a map that kind of helped us. We had a hard time actually working it. The streets were slightly difficult (there were a lot of dead ends) and we could never seem to find a street sign when we needed it.

I didn't get to see everything that I really wanted to see, but it was a perfect day for walking around and enjoying the sights. I have a bunch of pictures that I'm going to upload tomorrow. I don't plan on doing too much so I'll have all day to wait for them to load correctly. =)

For now though, I'm off to bed!
