We met for the bus at about 8 am and then headed off to Cordoba. It took about three hours for us to get there (give or take). It was such a cute little city full of small streets and beautiful buildings. We had a few hours to eat lunch and wonder around as we pleased.
This weekend has definitely caused me to fall in love with Tapas! They are basically like appetizers, or small portions, that you can order for about 2 euros each. For one person to have about 3 it's pretty filling. But for a table to four to share a bunch (like we did for our dinner the other week) it's not enough! My favorite is the patatas bravas (which I'm determined to find a good recipe for)!
Anyway, after lunch we went into the one cathedral there (simply beautiful), grabbed some ice cream (it was about 85 degrees) then we were back on the bus for Seville. It took about another 3 hours before we finally got there. Once everyone was in their rooms and settled we headed to a flamenco show, then dinner. I was tired after a long day so I headed back to the room after dinner (it was about 11).
