April 1st - April 2nd: Day Fifty Nine

After breakfast everyone headed out for a brief tour of Seville. I have to admit, it's a LOT prettier than Madrid! But, it's harder to maneuver around in. Seville was built before cars and the streets prove that. There are a TON of narrow alley ways, side streets and more that cars can barley get through. They also aren't in the typical block pattern that you see in most cities. We walked through the old palace and it's gardens, then got a bus tour of the city.

Once that was over we were all free to do what we wished. The first thing on our agenda, though, was lunch. After that we walked around until about 6 looking at all of the buildings. Once we were finished with that we headed back for a nap, then to dinner. We found a nice Italian place right by our hotel that had wonderful food! Then we walked around some more enjoying a clear, warm night, then headed off to bed.

Once again, I was pretty tired from walking around all day. Plus, I'm not the partying/drinking type. Never have been, probably never will be.

XOXO,
Carol
