Mar 1st - Mar 2nd: Day Twenty Eight

I have officially been here for a month! Sure, it was the shortest month of the year, but still, it's one month down! Today was kind of boring; I thought so at least. I had class, came home, ate lunch and relaxed a little. Gio and I took a little walk around our area of the city too. He caught my sickness from last week and was in his room dying all day. Haha, he apologized for being unsympathetic to me when I was sick too. He told me today that he thought I was simply milking it for all I could; which wasn't the case!

He's leaving Blanca's after this week and I think that's got me a little down. His plan the entire time was to eventually get a place of his own so he could learn more and become more accustomed to the culture. He was going to stay here, but his dad wasn't too happy about that. So, after this weekend it'll be me, the Chinese girls and Pablo from Bolivia. I wonder if Blanca will host another kid since she's going to have the room?

Either way, as soon as Gio is feeling better we are heading out to do some shopping. We might head to Sol so I can pick up another gift (I wasn't sure if I really wanted to get it the last time I was there). We also might see a movie. There's apparently a theater right down the street from us (I had no idea it was there until our walk today)! I like watching movies/shows in Spanish; even if I don't fully understand what's going on. Speaking of Spanish movies, I might watch a few of the DVD's that Blanca left in my room for me tomorrow. It'll be a nice change of things.

Only three more months to go!
