Feb 28th - Mar 1st: Day Twenty Seven

Blanca's broccoli and cream soup was simply wonderful! It gave Panera Bread a run for their money! I was lucky enough to have it for lunch AND dinner too! I simply enjoy her cooking and I think it's going to be one of the things I miss the most about this place!

I was looking at my calendar today and I've got one month down! Only three more to go! Plus, mid-terms are in about two weeks (sometime before the 22nd.. that's all I know). It's crazy to think that I'm so close to being finished! Part of me is ready to be done, but the other part isn't. I miss home a lot, but Madrid definitely has it's positive sides. Mostly the freedom! I'm used to not being able to breathe due to the amount of schoolwork I have. Here, it takes me an hour tops to do my work! I wish Bloomsburg would take some notes on that!

I'm definitely getting more excited about my future trip to Barcelona as well! I can't wait to visit the sagrada de familia! I can only imagine how beautiful it is in real life!

XOXO,
Carol

  2. Did I ever tell you how smart your brother is? He is so correct...I am also ready for you to be home, but keep having fun! I know I have told you when I text you...but I miss your smell...your room still smells like you but not as strong...I could make Nate wear your perfume when he comes home...LOL...just kidding Nate! Since I was sick yesterday, I am a day behind so I am going to post this and move on to today.
