Today started off as a good day. I got ready for class super early and had time to 'relax' before I started my crowded commute, I didn't leaving anything behind and I was surprised when the metro wasn't too crowded. Unfortunately my luck didn't last. Pretty much half way to school I had to leave the metro. I don't know if it wasn't working, or if they had to do work on it, or what. Either way, I wasn't allowed back on at that stop. So, I decided I'd follow the people that left the metro with me, hoping they'd lead me to the next metro stop. Well, I followed the wrong people and ended up in a technical school with the same name as the next metro stop. I found it eventually, but it too was closed. Deciding that the mile walk to school would be too confusing and potentially 'dangerous' (as in I'd get even more lost), I decided to take a cab. I made it to class, late, but the professor understood (she ran into the same metro problem... but took the bus).
The day did get better though, thank God! Class, as always, was fun and entertaining. I feel like this week is flying by. I'm hoping that's simply because of my up-coming trip to Barcelona! =)
Beyond my little mix-up nothing else really happened. I did my homework and decided to take a break from studying to watch Desperate Housewives from the other night. We have mid-terms next week already so I've been re-writing my notes to they are easier to understand/study.
Only 80 more days! =)
XOXO,
Carol
Never a dull moment...I am glad things worked out! I wonder if problems with the metro happen a lot? You wouldn't think they would work on it during a busy time like that and instead work on it in the night? Tonight I had my night out with my work gang...we went to Red Lobster. Trudy and I were talking about some of the things you've talked about on your blog...she really enjoys reading it, however wasn't too sure what she thought about the eel and tenicles. I am going to make a trip to the bank over lunch tomorrow so everything will be taken care of...I will text you more details later. Well that is all for now but again...remember how much I love you!
