Feb 24th - Feb 25th: Day Twenty Three

We really didn't do too much shopping today. I wanted to stop at the ATM to withdraw some cash before tomorrow, and I also needed to stop and get my stuff for the metro. So those were the two things I made sure I did today. Beyond that we simply walked around. Which, even though it wasn't much, it was exactly what I needed.

I was a bit down in the dumps this week. I think it was because of being sick last weekend. I wasn't able to really do anything and then classes started so I fell into a bit of a slump. Walking around today helped and I'm actually feeling really excited for tomorrow. I might even go out to the Sunday market with Gio and his friend from school on Sunday. We'll see though. I have to get my presentation finished before Monday so that might be how I spend my Sunday. Although, since the weather will be nice I might sneak in a trip to the park.

XOXO,
Carol

  1. It's time to get out of that slump! Just remember time is ticking away and before you know it you will be coming home...I know I keep saying that, but just remember how it is when you go on a vacation...you think you have all this time to get things done and go see stuff and before you know it...you're on your way back home and didn't get to do half the stuff you planned...only thing is this is too far away to just hop in the car and go back to visit and do the things you missed. I love you and miss you but stop being mopey and get out of the dumps! I will be checking up on you tomorrow and hopefully your spirit is much better! Love Momma!

  2. I was in the room while Momma wrote her comment. Don't worry, Skippy; I had a somewhat depressing week too. I think it had to do with the amount of work that was piled on my shoulders this week. But I do have to agree with her: Don't be too miserable and get out and see the sights! I know that you were sick and stuff, but now that you're healthy (or at least as healthy as you'll ever be, we all know how you act) you should go out and take pretty pictures again! Mom says, "Don't forget my castanets." Te Amo Mucho!
